Following a lengthy absence, the LMP is delighted to be returning to present a series of concerts at St John's, Smith Square during the 2011/12 season.
Generously sponsored by M&G Investments, this new series showcases the breadth and depth of the LMP’s music-making; young artists, such as pianist Cordelia Williams and conductor Nicholas Collon, join more established names, like pianist Howard Shelley and the LMP’s Music Director Gérard Korsten.
The series includes the London première of a new work by Cecilia McDowall, inspired by the tango music of South America. The piece was co-commissioned by the Welsh Chamber Orchestra and the London Mozart Players, through the PRS Foundation’s Beyond Borders scheme.
