Ever wanted to know more about the music the LMP performs or about music in general? Then Music Matters would be a great place to start. Music Matters is a series of Tuesday talks at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon, illustrated with live and recorded music. It is an informal and friendly way to meet a wide range of speakers, including orchestral players, soloists, conductors and experts in many fields of music-making.
Music Matters starts late September and consists of two terms. The evening starts at 7.30pm until 9.45pm, with a refreshment break. The second term runs from 12th January 2010 to 23rd March 2010 with a break for half term on the 16th February.
Price per term (10 talks): £61.50. Price two terms: £113 (when booked at the same time). You can attend one taster session to see if you like it (cost £7). The cost of this session will be deducted from the term fee if you decide to sign up for one or two terms.
