Make-a-Disc

Launched in 2003 as a project for young people in youth clubs, Make-a-Disc enables young people to record their own music making. During the initial series of over one hundred workshops in Make Space clubs across England the LMP team worked with rock bands, rap artists and vocalists alongside youngsters learning orchestral instruments and frequently led groups of young people in creating their own music using a range of technology. The LMP has a well-equipped mobile studio including several Mac workstations with Garageband software, which allows flexibility in location.

Music Workshops

A fun and games interactive music workshop for 4 - 11 year olds in after-school clubs, either as part of a Music Day (click here for more information) or as a full day of workshops as part of a holiday play-scheme.
