Southampton's Turner Sims Concert Hall is situated on the main campus of the University of Southampton and is acknowledged as one of the finest music venues in the country. Opened in 1974 the 460-seat venue's intimate auditorium, outstanding acoustic and garden setting have made it a favourite destination for artists and audiences for almost 30 years.

The association between the Turner Sims and the London Mozart Players dates back to 1996 when the orchestra first performed at the venue. Now Orchestra in Association at the Turner Sims, the LMP's involvement extends to three concerts a year given by a variety of ensemble combinations, featuring a mixture of guest soloists and orchestra principals.

In addition to its concert activity, the orchestra's extensive outreach work in partnership with the Turner Sims has brought music to many thousands of young people throughout Southampton and beyond.
