Eating & drinking in Croydon
If you fancy a bite to eat before or after the concert, Croydon offers plenty of places for solid and liquid nourishment.
The actual concert
There is no dress code for LMP concerts in Fairfield, so you can wear whatever you feel comfortable in. The concerts start at 7.30pm, and if you like to hear more about the programme, there is a Pre-Concert Conversation at 6.30pm, which is usually an interview with the conductor or soloist and the audience can ask questions too.
Programmes are available to buy from the stewards and you can always come over to the LMP table for a chat or to buy CDs.
There is always an interval in the concert, usually after about 45 minutes. The interval last ca. 20 minutes and then there’s another 45 minutes left of the concert. This means that most concerts will finish by about 9.30pm, which leaves plenty of time to get home or even have a drink or a meal afterwards.
