We perform many concerts throughout the borough of Croydon, all generously supported by Croydon Council. Our main series is in Fairfield Halls, with additional chamber concerts on Croydon Clocktower.
In 1989 the London Mozart Players forged a unique partnership with Nestlé UK and Croydon Council to become Croydon's resident professional orchestra. The support from Nestlé UK ceased after 18 years of support, but the residency at Fairfield Halls is still going strong.
As resident orchestra at Fairfield, the LMP has promoted countless unforgettable concerts and hosted some of the greatest classical stars, winning the hearts of concert-goers all over the borough. The residency, thanks to the involvement of Croydon Council, has also been characterised by a large amount of work in the community, including concert demonstrations and workshops with local children, schools, community groups and care homes. Links with Fairfield Halls became even stronger in early 2011 when the LMP moved its office into the venue, and both organisations are looking to work together even more closely over the coming months and years.
The residency continues to flourish in the 2012/13 season, building on its successful history at Fairfield. Click below to download a brochure (opens in new window).
