Where else do you teach/play?
Philharmonia, RPO, Orchestra of St Johns, Les Miserables, National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company. No teaching.

Where were you born?
Woburn Sands.

How old were you when you started playing, and why did you take up the trumpet?
I started when I was eight after being inspired by the local brass band playing for a Remembrance Day service.

What has been your most fun/interesting musical experience so far?
Playing for the Three Tenors world tour with tens of thousands of people in the audience.

Who have you enjoyed working with the most and why?
It would be easier to say who have LEAST enjoyed working with – but that wouldn't be fair!

Do you play any other instruments?
No.

Do you have any hobbies you manage to fit into your spare time?
Skiing, cooking, motor racing.

Where is your favourite holiday destination?
South of France.

What's your favourite sound?
A cork popping out of as bottle of good red wine when I have a leg of lamb staring at me.
