Poet Roger McGough joins the LMP for Saint Saëns's Carnival of the Animals. He will narrate some of his poems based on this famous work. Another animal-themed work is Haydn's energetic symphony The Hen.
The young and talented sisters Tomoka and Ayaka Shigeno will perform Mozart's Double Piano Concerto.
